Who is counseling for?

Individual, couples, or family counseling can help individuals, couples and families deal with many personal and relational topics in life such as anger, depression, anxiety, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting problems, school difficulties, career changes etc.

Who needs counseling?

Individuals who are struggling with day to day struggles and challenges, couples who are struggling in their relationships, families who are struggling living together or working through challenging moments. Counseling can help create changes in the lives of people treated for the better.

How do I know if I need counseling?

Is it time to see a counselor? Psychotherapy, talk or talking therapy, counseling, or simply therapy — no matter the name it’s known by, mental health counseling can benefit people struggling with emotional difficulties, life challenges, and mental health concerns. If you are struggling with day to day things, struggling with worries that you feel are no longer manageable, feel like your life is no longer worth living or have low self esteem, or if you are just having a difficult time with life.

What should I expect my first session?

The first session is an intake. This is not only an interview for you but an interview for your counselor. This is to determine if you can trust this person to help you make changes and adjust perspectives about your life, if you will be able to open up to this person and allow them to be part of your journey. The questions completed during your intake paperwork will be reviewed, you only have to provide as much or as little information as you want.

Do you take insurance?

Currently we accept Aetna, BCBS, Tricare, UnitedHealthcare, and many others. Please call the office at 478-333-1660 to be sure we accept your insurance.

What should I do, if I do not not like my assigned counselor?

Contact the administrative office and request a change in counselors. Someone will contact you to discuss who you may fit best with, within our company our outside our company. You have the right to chose your provider in any setting.
